Didn't Kirby do a story in 1976 where Captain America went back to the American Revolution and got in a dust up with Benjamin Franklin? I believe it was a treasury edition. Yes he did, and Franklin based the US flag on Cap's uniform! (True story).

Spent part of the afternoon outside by the avocado trees (we have 5). Couldn't climb this time around but could certainly catch. We got about 175+

Terminator was a let down. I saw the first two Terminator movies back in the day and thought they were both rubbish. The popularity of the franchise is a real head-scratcher for me. I just don't see the appeal. Runs aways, ducking thrown rocks...If you didn't like the good ones you're going to hate everything that came out since

Francis Hopkinson, who signed the Declaration of Independence for my home state of New Jersey, will have you know that he designed the flag. And he demands to paid for his work. Preferably with some wine.

Ted 2 was also a let down.
Hoping MI 5: Rogue Nation raises the bar again.

I honored the 4th of July by giving my ex more independence by taking the last of my stuff out of his apartment after going to one event'* at Cologne Pride.
(one of my employees at the AIDS center where I'm volunteering as director got a very prestigious award for a historical project he does in his free time, interviewing gay men who were persecuted under the infamous anti-gay § 175 of the German penal code even after the Third Reich ended.)

One of the most annoying sounds to endure is the tinny music of the ice cream truck that parks in front of your house for 20 minutes waiting while not a single customer shows up. Just sitting there, blaring it's music at top volume drowning out the television and any other sounds from inside the house at normal volume, it's faux happy tune repeating on an endless cycle...over and over again.

That definitely fits my description of Disturbing the Peace.

I haven't seen and heard an ice cream truck for more than 15-20 years! ... In the 60's and 70's they were the staple of Summer Life and we hurried to get 10 cents to get ourselves a huge dilly bar pretty much every Saturday Afternoon without fail. In the 70's they were a quarter.

I live on a cross street. There is an ice cream man out here, he never comes past my house though.
