Was the grilled cheese at least good? Yes because it wasn't burnt. But the pan is a little burned. Well, that's a silver lining.

There's Betty Barrett, a.k.a. Atomic Betty, who 10 years ago starred in her own cartoon (which, while I didn't watch it frequently, I remember being quite entertaining)

If I had health or religious reasons to not eat meat, and I was convinced of said reasons, I could pull of being a vegetarian. But no way can I give up dairy, eggs, and nuts .... I gotta have those on a more regular basis than meat now. I admire your convictions, but couldn't do it myself. I'm technically Irish-Catholic, so we like to torture ourselves I suppose. I just choose food over alcohol. I sometimes eat food that contains honey, eggs and dairy, but not that often. I typically cook without it though. Lentils might be my favorite food. Maybe. Today. Tomorrow; quinoa. Sunday? Hmm. I don't know.... I make a lot of soup. I'm about to do that now actually. Wait. Huh? Nuts are plants last I checked? Unless this is an alternate reality where up is round and eyes are sideways? I remember someone saying that nuts were off their diet because they were vegan. Maybe that was just them, and I assumed it was a universal vegan thing. And if it had to be one or the other, for whatever reason, yeah I'd go vegan over sober and never look back. :-)

Maybe they were talking about animelles!

Yep, I'm gonna die. No, read the article - exposure to the fumes of overheated teflon (over 662 degrees F) causes "...temporary, intense, but not serious symptoms such as fever, shivering, sore throat and coughing", known as "teflon flu". But there don't seem to be any long-term consequences.

If I somehow do get sick from it, I will go to my doctor and tell her that I have the Teflon Flu. lol. Thanks for linking it, though.

I just remembered reading one of your posts where you talked about alcoholism a while back. I was making fun of myself (being irish) not you in any way. I'm sorry. Oh no I didn't take it that way at all. I was just explaining why I mentioned nuts as part of something excluded from this person's vegan diet. Most anyone here knows I'm a big fan of booze. No worries. :-)

No worries. :-) I got worried again after that post, because I thought I should've said that in a private message, because I could not recall how I know that and what exactly it was. I think it was in a thread where Tony Stark came up and I remembered you saying something about alcoholism, and I was not implying anything with "I choose food over alcohol" to "torture myself" at all. Sorry. No sorry necessary. I was very much telling the truth in saying giving up meat would be an easier sacrafice than alcohol. And I probably have said many things regarding Demon in a Bottle. I may not a have a badass, hi-tech armour suit but I still know his situation in past times in my life. So you are defiantly not imagining anything I've probably said about the subject.

I'll have to file that one away for future reference if I ever start writing again. -M

Is it wrong that when reading this I heard Mary Tyler Moore saying it in that long, teary wail of hers? Cei-U! I summon Laura Petrie and her capris!
