Today I start a week off from work. (My vacation is actually 11 days counting my off days and weekends.) I plan to go to comic shops in the nearing states and hunt for back issues. I happened to run into a place in NJ called Main Street Comics and they had over 60 boxes that had 1 dollar comics and I cleaned up. I want to see if there are other stores blowing out older stuff. Awesome man

Happy Chinese New Year. The last two weeks for me have been...a mental hurdle for me. Nothing drastic has happened like a family tragedy or a financial crisis. I live in Macau now and have for the last seven months or so. Adjusting has been difficult at times. There is a cultural divide that I didn't think would be as big of a problem it's turned out to be. I returned to the bay area where I'm from for a week to take care of some business, and all of my focus has been lost since returning to Macau. So it's been two weeks of me just being lost in my own headspace. Moping basically. For a month I was really consistent with all of my endeavors. Working out, studying Chinese, and working on my comic portfolio 6-8 hours a day. Now...that daily grind is gone, and I'm really disappointed. Also of note, still living with my in-laws going on about 7 months now I think. Hope to move out soon. As nice as they are, I really can't stand not being the king of my own castle. There are a ton of little things that just irk me. It's more so my personal problem, but sooner the better me and and my wife settle elsewhere. I just need personal space. We're close though so that's good.

I just got done watching Children of the Corn and suddenly I remember why I skipped K-12 and went straight to teaching college.

It's Monday morning, the first one during my retirement, the final phase of my life. I pay no attention to the traffic reports. I always have time for that second cup of coffee. I'll shave if I want to. What to do, what to do. I'll food shop when the supermarket opens and it's empty. Buy some Cheetos and watch The Wendy Williams Show.I'll check if dust is accumulating in my dress shirt draw. The mail man's arrival could be the highlight of the day.
Oh my god, what did I do?

Buy a PC/Playstation/Xbox, a case of beer, and kill some brain cells for a week or two?

Has anyone else had issues with photobucket? It's very slow to load and there are many popups whenever I try to post a picture.

Popups galore, multiple banners, and a very slow reaction time. At some point, I couldn't access my pictures anymore. Imgur is a good alternative; it allowed me to finish my SSoC reviews.

Well I am semi retired (working part time). I have been doing stuff I said I would do when I had time. The wife & I have had more "dates" this past month than probably in the last several years! We just booked a cruise in June. Never was able to take off work long enough to do a decent cruise. Hopefully you have the finances to have some fun.

I can't stand Photobucket and the past year - been using Imgur for that purpose alone.

Though in my case that be a little light on the required amount of adult beverages for two weeks. :-)
