Hmmm. We may not hit it until the Eastern Standard Time folks return from Sunday services, now. Darn divinity competing for our attention... Oh yeah, I can see it now "I hope it's a short sermon this week so I can rush back to that CCF website" Communion or pudding? I ask you which brings you closer to the divine...

Communion or pudding? I ask you which brings you closer to the divine... Could I substitute pudding for the wafer? It would probably work better as a substitute for the wine.

Communion or pudding? I ask you which brings you closer to the divine... Could I substitute pudding for the wafer? It would make perfect sense! Cue the music! My sweet Lord (hallelujah) Hm, my Lord (hallelujah) My sweet Lord (hallelujah)

I'm a musician also. I play Trombone- or at least I used to.

I too am a musician -- guitarist and singer. I make my living from it.

I should've said; failed musician. 😺🎸 I also come from a long line of failed musicans and artists. 😸 I use music strictly theraputically now. If you can play and give others sweet sounds, you are not a failure.

Like Icctrombone says, there's no such thing as a failed musician. If you can make music for your own entertainment and the entertainment of others, then you're a success. End of story.

Wow..................................... So Moonlight... I was so excited that La La Land won and then momentarily crushed when it turned out to be a mistake. Props to the La La Land crew for being very gracious in handing the award off to the Moonlight guys.

I'm a musician also. I play Trombone- or at least I used to. I always wanted to be a musician. I love music and listen to it closely, I love experimenting on instruments to make sounds (the weirder the instrument the better), and my favorite people as both a student and now a teacher are often the band kids. But, when I was in first grade, I was taking lessons at school, and the instructor told me to give up. Wish I could go back and smack that guy now. I've thought about taking lessons with an instrument since then (I think I'd love acoustic guitar) but I've never found the time. Maybe now that I'm single...

To his credit, he seemed as genuinely confused as the rest of us when he was handed the envelope, which is why he showed it to Faye Dunaway to confirm it. Someone behind the scenes is probably getting fired over that gaffe.

Someone behind the scenes is probably getting fired over that gaffe. Talk about a senior moment. Or two... Mark Evanier tells the story of another near-gaffe, this one in 1985: www.newsfromme.com/2015/03/20/an-oscar-anecdote-2/
