the question is, or shouldbe, how many times did they spar philosophically? since the philosophy of heroes/villains leads to their actions, or inaction. You gave me food for thoughts here ...

Aren't they both about saving the innocent and just being good people? How DO their philosophies actually differ? That is a great question!

That is a great question! well, Kal El is an extra terrestrial and very aware of it. he has adopted the earth, but is not in any way part of it. WW is UTTERLY of the Earth and a living icon of one of the oldest cultures on the planet. as their subconcious self-definitions are aware of this, and cannot therefore be the same, their philosophies, apart from surface values, must differ, even if they deny it to themselves, or each other. apologies for being a fan of Proust here, lol.
