The thread being back on its tracks, let's keep it this way please.
Also, let's not forget to play nice!
(I sound like a Saturday morning "one to grow on" clip!)

If you look close you'll see he's the ghost of Richie Rich!! Spoooooky!!! I couldn't resist from Crazy Magazine 1974 {Spoiler: Click to show} I seem to recall Steve Skeates as the writer. Hard to read the signage on the artwork but is that Marie Severin?

Yes it's Marie Severin. It was shocking when I read this as a youth.

I read that Kasper the Dead Baby story when it came out. I was about ten. I remember it made me very uncomfortable. I read MAD, Cracked, Crazy and sometimes Sick for about a year before I started reading more than a handful of comics. I don't think anything in any of the other comics was as disturbing as Kasper the Dead Baby.
Which reminds me of a question I've had about Hot Stuff for a while. Is he the baby of a mommy and a daddy devil? Or is he a really really evil baby who died before he was four years old and his evil soul was recruited by Satan?

I'm not sure but I always wondered what kind of mental disorder Little Dot suffered from?

Ohhhhhh. My heart. Can these still be bought as individual issues? If so, are they decently priced? If not, are they available in collection somewhere. I lived for Thundercats when I was a child.

They're heroes to me... I had this issue growing up.I did not grow up on the comics, but I grew up on the cartoons, and LOVED Casper (and friends/associates in ghoul). <3

A quick look at ebay and lone star shows most of them can be had in the $3-5 range. However, I was shocked to see this series lasted 24 issues, as I thought it only ran for like 5 or 6. Accordingly, the prices of the last few issues seem to be a bit higher, as the print run I'm assuming was much lower. Lone star doesn't even have some of the last issues, and the ones they do are edging up into the $9-17 range.

The Richie Rich books were more inventive and fun. Casper was kind of boring. The covers were always cuter than the insides. They had a certain charm, though. I think the only Wendy I had was her appearances with Casper. Little Dot and Little Lotta were more memorable and fun. I've found all kinds of obscure stuff, when I was collecting; but, try finding Harvey stuff, the Hanna-Barbera comics, or some of the other cartoon books in the the shops. Pretty rare.
