These were brought up in another thread a while back, and I'll say again what I said then, these kind of made up hero vs hero pissing matches are about the least interesting aspect of super-hero comics to me. I know there are people who enjoy them, but they bore the snot out of me.

When did it become a cool thing for hero's to beat the snot out of each other? While it was always a nice nod and interesting to see 2 hero's meet and misunderstand or trade blows a bit before realizing they are both on the same side this takes that idea to the absurd. Watched the Thor vs Superman and they trade insults and act totally out of character making these more juvenile and irrational than fun. Mark me for a dislike. Glad to not have seen these before and won't look at ever again. Prefer my hero's to be heroic!

It felt like a fun Elseworlds. |

I like the actress who played Wonder Woman in the most recent one. She has a bit of a Lucy Lawless vibe going. Really striking likeness.

I think I first looked them up and posted abou them almost a year ago because one of the creators of these fan films had been tapped to work on the Valiant stuff. I watched to see what they were capable of, and on the tech side they have some chops but their story and narrative inclinations chilled me to any interest in a mainstream project they would work on.

OLD fan boys like me love heroes & villains clashing with each other! Who didn't want to read that Superman vs. Spider-Man Treasury book when it came out? Or the Hulk vs. Batman, Superman vs. Wonder Woman? If watching these Super Power Beat Down videos is juvenile, then I am a delinquent.  |

I work in a residential home with 3 guys who have developmental disabilities and I show these videos to them & it makes them very happy.  |
