Ok, now I am excited for this one. I was kind of meh going in, but the trailer hit the right notes for me. It looks like it blends a little of the Ultimate Spidey cast in too.

I didn't know they were even making another Spider-Man movie. Nice trailer, looks promising. I assume that villain was the Vulture?

Looks good. Glad that they are going with a different take from what we've already seen on the big screen. I like that they are showing different members of Peter's supporting cast like Liz Allan and Ned Leeds, instead of the ones everybody already knows. And as far as authenticity goes, the fact that a lot of his classmates are non-white makes it more believable that he goes to public school in Queens.

The first half with Peter in high school really has me interested.

Looks like they've imported Genke (sp?) from the Miles Morales version as his friend. Looks good from that little bit, and I like how they've amped up the Vulture, so he doesn't just look like a white Falcon.

Things I loved:
Tom Holland as Peter. Armpit webs. Michael Keaton as Vulture. Ben Cooper masks.
Things I didn't love:
Swiping Ganke Lee from Miles Morales and renaming him Ned Leeds. Too much Tony Stark. Another movie with Peter in high school.

I don't like the idea of them taking anything from the Miles character and trying to tack it onto Peter. The characters are distinct enough and both have rich enough supporting casts and backstories that neither one should have to take anything from the other. You just end up with two watered down versions of Spider-Man when you do that.

Things I didn't love:Too much Tony Stark. I'm hoping those were the majority of his (hopefully) limited appearances in the film and that they included those in the trailer to boost the appeal. Because otherwise, it feels like a team-up movie which this shouldn't warrant. I feel like too much Tony will only end up overshadowing Peter.

While I'm getting tired of Marvel revamping Spider-Man, this looks worthy of a movie ticket to me. I liked the costume in Captain America: Civil War, I especially like how Spidey's eyes move, which reminds me of the animation of the old 1967 Spider-Man cartoons.
