Only 2 more months of reading left for 2017. How much reading will we cram into November and December along with the working and holidays and shopping and sleeping? Ha, I don't know my reading tends to drop off this time of year, we'll see though. Yep, I have a small window with the 1st week or 2 of November but from there on it gets kind of hectic so not sure how much actual quality reading I will have time for. This is when classic Archie digests come in handy for short quick story reads...

Well, I ended the year with 1056 comics read in various forms ( Regular, digital, tpb). Of the 12 months I only read 100 comics and over 4 times. I tried to have my reading be more organic and not forced, so I'm okay with the amount. I was subscribed to MU and Comixology but canceled Comixology this month because I didn't use it so much.
The last 4 years-
2013- 1400 2014- 1129 2015-1363 2016-1218
This years totals makes it the least amount that I've read since I started keeping records.

2017 Total Read: 1016
Like Icc I wasn't forcing any of my reads, just going along at whatever pace life allowed. Some months more and some less. Damn life getting in the way of reading!!! Add to this books and movies and television and it's a wonder any of us get anything done at all? Ended up right around where i though that I might with around 1000 a year. Might be a different trending if I truly sat down and said READ! To try and break it all down like Shax would likely make my head explode. Do more than enough logs and trackers at work and want to enjoy my comics as the pleasures they are.

I always thought that 3 comics read per day is a fair amount.

I always thought that 3 comics read per day is a fair amount. Not that it should matter, but I always like to see I averaged at least one book per day for the year. To date, I've always exceeded that amount.

Sadly life, work and responsibilities means there are many days where I never have an opportunity to read a comic book. Especially when I am devouring a good book or having to work around the homestead. There are also those days when reading is just not what I want to be doing.
Vacations/trips/drives/weekends away and mother nature in the woods are times I totally stop reading. But then there are days or nights where I will blow through an entire Epic or Essential or Showcase. Depends on the mood and how I am feeling at the time. 4-5 Classic comics in a day feels about right for me but the current stuff is more like 10-20 issues as they seem so light and decompressed.
