Coming out soon. I recently read the original Judas Contract as I'm going through Wolfman and Perez's run for the first time. I thought it was pretty good for the most part.
Most of these animated releases I've found to be average to lackluster, but I have enjoyed a few. Hopefully this one has a lot of the same story elements from the original story. A number of things will be different like the lineup of the group, but that is expected with the release of the prior films. What these movies really suffer from is a lack of time. They're like 85 minutes or so and everything has to be stuffed in that time frame.

I respect their trying to merge it with DC's complex animated and current comic book continuities, but I'm not excited by what I see at all.
And, while I'm usually okay with updating visual styles, Perez's work was half the appeal of this series.

I'm interested to see what they do with the story as part of this shared Batman/Justice League/Teen Titans movie universe.

Um, no thank you. I'll content myself with the original. There is a reason why some things are called iconic. I don't see that there.
Meanwhile, why do I feel like I have seen most of those scenes a dozen times, over 20 years ago, in every anime release that reached these shores? About the only thing missing was the guy who voiced the authoritarian characters in every Streamline redubbing (hell, he worked for about everyone, back in the 90s).

Well, that's a decent promo for a Titans movie, it's not the Judas Contract with Blue Beetle and Tim Drake in it. No sign that they're leaving the core story intact (They did show a brief clip with Beast Boy in it at the end, but no sign he's a main character as he should be). I'm sure Blue Beetle is replacing Cyborg (who isn't allow to be a Titan anymore since they need him to be the token black guy of the JLA), but Tim Drake being involved makes me think they're throwing Batman stuff in there.. which they shouldn't do.. the main story has plenty of material for a 2 hr movie.

Like anything DC puts out these days, I'll check it out if I can get it for free legally (usually from the library) if the mood strikes me when its available, but am in no hurry to see it or have any expectation I will really like it.

The disappointing thing is that when this project was first announced, some years ago, it was supposed to be a full-on adaptation of the Judas Contract, bringing the Perez visuals and Wolfman story, much like All-Star Superman captured Morrison and Quitely. The Deathstroke/Terra relationship seemed to be the stumbling block that held it up; but, I have to wonder about how this morphed, in light of the DC and Warner changes in executives, during the development period.
