Hello All, It's been a while since I've been around these parts. I'm trying to upload some images from Photobucket and am not having any luck. I've tried using our built in Insert Image button withe IMG address from Photo bucket and nothing happens. I've tried just pasting the IMG address without using the Insert Image button and still nothing happens. I'm using the latest version of the Safari browser if that makes any difference. If anyone can help me out here, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I've tried using our built in Insert Image button withe IMG address from Photo bucket That's your problem right there. Just put the IMG code DIRECTLY into your reply. Using the Insert Image button is essentially creating duplicate code. Only use that option for a straight html link.

For some reason, when I drop and drag photos to posts they do not save. The only way to get an image to save is to post the direct link to it. I have no way to take an image from my computer and drop and drag it into a post.

I have no way to take an image from my computer and drop and drag it into a post. iirc there is a limit to the amount of attachments the site can support without incurring additional costs, so rather than risk incurring those costs or picking and choosing who and what type of images can be attached, the site admin turned off the attachment function so nobody can attach photos to posts on the site. This means the only way to add photos is to link to them, whether to an imagehosting site that you have uploaded your photos to, or to hotlink to another site that hosts the photo. -M

I have no way to take an image from my computer and drop and drag it into a post. May I recommend imgur? I use it for all of the photos I include in my posts here.

I use Imgur but am getting nervous about their sustainability. I have 4,400 images there fo use in this forum. Our volume is low, but the storage space must be adding up. A free site seems too good to be true.
