I am curious about this piece of artwork. The paper is old and appears to be done in water colour. The signature is in ink, not a photocopy. I am having no luck determining if this was an old piece Romita may have done at a con. There is a stamp on the back that says "Lamondey Galleries" but I am having zero luck finding out anything about that either. Any thoughts from the pros here would be helpful   |

I'm not a pro, but i seem to remember people on Facebook talking about a place called Gallery Lamonde or something like that, possibly in Pittsburgh, that had a rep for selling (sometimes obvious) fake sketches on eBay a while back.
This is more elaborate and better than most, but the signature seems stiff and the feathering, especially on the arms, looks pretty haphazard.

Okay, I am going to stay away because the person selling it cannot give me much information on it. Rather not spend on it.
