Darwyn Cooke really hit me and I just discovered his art a few years before he died and when someone here in the R.I.P. Thread mentioned that he died it's stunned me and this left me a big hole because I've did not know that he did consulting work on the Justice League Frontier.
I have been thinking of this for the past day or so and I wanted to share that his work will not be forgotten. His death left a big hole in my life and I find his work refreshing, bold, and with a touch of retro.

His death left a big hole in my life and I find his work refreshing, bold, and with a touch of retro. Me too, I loved his work. From New frontier to the amazing Parker series, he was one of the great creators working. His take on the Spirit was the closest thing to Eisner ever done.

This is a sad, but important thread. I agree with you because we need to recognize the great writers and artists that left us and their work in the Comic Industry needs to be honored and respected.

Sub-Mariner creator Bill Everett dead at 55. Wow, because of the longevity of his JLA run, I thought Dick Dillin passed way at a much later age.
