Just wondering what your thoughts are? If it ain't broke, I know the general advice is not to fix it, but I felt like trying to energize it a little bit. The image is too low res for sure, but I'm wondering if it's a direction I should even continue pursuing, or if it's not something you're liking.  |

I like it, but having an alternate/new version could be nice too... maybe a 'Marvel-y' version? (since the current one is DC-y)

I don't see it at all. It's the same ole banner that we had for months not the slanted one that you posted a picture of ... Shax. Sorry, I don't see the difference at all.
One more thing every time I move around this forum a flash of white background appears and that's somewhat annoying to see occasionally and I just wanted to point that out too. I still don't see any other differences at all ...

I like it, but having an alternate/new version could be nice too... maybe a 'Marvel-y' version? (since the current one is DC-y) I hear this a a lot. Funny thing is, the logo is supposed to be both. The long banner with the comics code symbol is taken from (in my mind) Marvel's most iconic header:  but most people don't seem to get the reference. Hey, if anyone wants to suggest a redesign, I'm willing to listen. |

The picture was posted in the thread because the new banner isn't live. I'm asking for opinions before putting it into action. I tested it briefly for scale but then put back the original. Nice catch. I never would have seen that. It's fixed. |

I like the current one. It may be cool to do a few other banners based on old DC, Marvel, etc logos & rotate them as the banner every 2-3 months.

I wasn't trying to open this up to be a massive overhall of the banner design, as it took a lot of community input and help to assemble the current one that we all enjoy. If anyone has a suggestion how to make it more suggestive of Marvel and not just DC, I'm open to that, but otherwise, that's not really what this thread was intended for.

Maybe adding something under the banner such as this...  modified to say the CCF wants you or an adaptation of the Marvel Pop Arts Production box that appeared in the corner adjusted to say a CCF Pop Art production or something would give it the added recognizable Marvel flair you seek without changing the whole kit and kaboodle. one of the covers with the Pop Art Productions logo...  -M |
