I apologize to Frank Quitely , Crumb draws the ugliest women in comics. By Crumb's own volition (from the documentary I watched about him) it is completely intentional on his part to draw women unconventionally and over-powering (which comes off as big "husky" or muscular women). He seemed to have this obsession at a young age with women being physically and authoritatively imposing. It was a pretty good documentary, for me beforehand, not really knowing anything about him. But it wa sad what happened with his brother. But all that said, I agree. |
