Sabrina and her aunts audition for parts in MacBeth. That's both the cover and the story:

Proof that it wasn't the Stratford man who wrote the sonnets, but Craig.

She's not only more lovely and more temperate, she's also more naive and more ignorant of English literature than a summer's day!

I'm guessing somebody ahd brushed up his Shakespeare and wrote this... The title also has overtones of Robert W. Service's poem The Shooting of Dan McGrew.

Hmmm. That title sounds familiar. Gorgeous splash page. What issue is that from? And why is it dedicated to Steve Ditko?

It's from Detective Comics #418. And it's dedicated to Steve Ditko because it features the the Creeper.

From the GCD: " Hamlet and Eggs" "The kids put on a production of Hamlet to raise money to build a statue of Major Otis (the principal) at their school, but when rehearsals go badly, they turn it into a musical version."

I'm a couple of days behind... The Titans play the Capulets when Lilith is convinced that she's a reincarnation of Juliet and falls for Romeo Della Loggia, son of the arch-rival of Titans' new mentor Mr. Jupiter. Violence ensues and the young lovers wind up in a family crypt, where the TT find a hunchback who had been in love with the original Juliet, who had been buried alive and preserved somehow intact. Turns out his he has the same name as the real villain of the piece, Della Loggia's nephew. Both of them die in a resolution every bit as complicated as any decent Shakespearean tragedy. Oh, the name of boht the nephew and the love-struck hunchback? Calibano. Once more unto the breach, Bob Haney!
