I always associate Ken Bald with the Dark Shadows newspaper strip, which is probably the first place I saw his name, but I've since picked up that he's done a lot of work, starting in the golden age. Another example of a fine artist who is largely under the radar with many fans 'cause he didn't do a lot (any?) "in-universe" work for DC or Marvel in the silver/bronze.

I'm definately will be picking up a copy of that book ... Micheal James! Jugg - you love old movies? Did you know of his wife actress Kaye Dowd? An Angel Comes to Brooklyn was probably her biggest role as Karen James.

Both the article and the wiki entry (probably the source of info for the article) are wrongopedia about Bald's first published work. His artwork first appeared in More Fun Comics #9 from 1936 (when he was 14), not the 1943 Captain America story as stated.
