Ever notice how Freudian some of these are? That Plastic Man one is all kinds of kinky, the FF has Sue literally climbing her husband's back and Doctor Who has the entrance to Satan's Realm at his crotch. No. It's you. I've done this a number of times. My company has very strict internet controls, but there are some contests where I know exactly what cover I want, so I've put in a placeholder from my phone and then uploaded the image when I get home. If the community decides against it, then I'll stop doing it, but I personally see no harm in it, since I obviously know what cover I want to put up, but I just can't at the moment. |

Well, it's not specifically in the rules but it does have precedent. I was driving and not able to post until I got home. Not I am and did  Precedent? Who says? You can't call your shots. Either post it when you log in or don't.... that's some bulls**t right there. |

Here's what I think about the place holder stuff. Nothing wrong with doing it, but it doesn't mean you get that cover. If everyone wants to give it to you, that's fine. But it's only a nicety to not post it, not an obligation.

Damn, that was the one I wanted to go for! One of my favourite villain teams... Yes! The Unholy Trio! This issue was also my first exposure to Daredevil (!), who comes off very well in this story and made him an instant favorite of mine. |

As I pointed out, it's been done before and there was never any issue with it.
FWIW, I'd have to dig a little a few months back, but because of the circumstances of not being able to post at that time, and no one had a placeholder used yet, I missed posting before another member posted the exact cover I was going to.
He won and I didn't.
Ok, no big deal.
If you want to post Harley then you can, otherwise I'll keep it.
I guess this too needs clarification, thus, another separate thread with a poll.
