Batman Episodes (120) … Third SeasonMinerva, Mayhem and Millionaires Original Air DatesMarch 14, 1968 Major VillainessZsa Zsa Gabor as Minerva Guest StarsJacques Bergerac as Freddie the Fence Howie Horwitz and William Dozier played themselves in Cameos. Final Show of the SeriesI was stunned to see Freddie the Fence in this show and I've totally forgot all about it. He was used to fence valuable property so that the monies wouldn't be traced to Minerva. The show opened up with Millionaires getting their locations (valuables) being extracted by a fiendish device by Minerva. So, she been very careful in this until she made a mistake mishandling Bruce's watch so that she can get those fabulous diamonds from Wayne's safe and millions from Lord Easystreet at the same time and leave the Mineral Spa alone and that's the end of her criminal career. She arrange with her staff and start making plans to get those diamonds and make plans to leave as well. It was all erased when the Dynamic Duo starts showing up and she thought by throwing them into the pressurizer. When Minerva returns, the pressurizer is empty. Minerva assumes that they’ve been pressurized into teeny tiny bits, but in fact they escaped and returned to the Batcave. Batman has Gordon bring Minerva in. She denies trying to kill Batman and Robin—she chalks it up to equipment failure of which she had a valid reasons for that. About to be pressurized and thanks for a special pellet that saved the Dynamic Duo! ... Allowing them to return to the Batcave to re-group! Later on Batgirl and Lord (Alfred) Easysteet were fell into the same trap too. They were saved by the Dynamic Duo and in this scene - Alfred told Batgirl that your secret is still safe with me and she was relieved by that. The Final Bat-Fight was a very nice one and I was pleasantly surprised by that and both Gordon and O'Hara puts the squeeze on Freddy the Fence and Minerva got caught red-handed and headed for Prison and Batgirl once and last moved on and our beloved Dynamic Duo never, once managed to find out who is Batgirl? Minerva being escorted to Prison by Commissioner Gordon! BatsI felt that the Producers did not want to make an effort in this show and can't wait to see the end. It was kind of sad seeing the last show today and I felt that it's should had handled better. I can only give it two Bats because the story is too easy to follow and it's not that good for a finale.

@mechagodzilla what an accomplishment! I will miss these reviews but yeah that last season had a bunch of stinkers. Like you said... I guess the producers gave up when they knew the show was canceled. Thanks again for bringing back some fond memories of my childhood.

Batman Episodes (120) … Third SeasonMinerva, Mayhem and Millionaires Original Air DatesMarch 14, 1968 Major VillainessZsa Zsa Gabor as Minerva You know a series is in trouble when Zsa Zsa shows up. There's no way Dozier and his production staff believed Zsa Zsa appealed to the target Batman audience. On the other hand, knowing the series was already cancelled, he just took yet another opportunity to shove one of his acquaintances in the series. Quality be damned...and that was more than apparent. The one good thing about this episode is that in certain TV markets, it meant the reruns would start from the beginning, and after suffering through season 3, it was a welcome return to the series point where it actually earned that cultural phenomenon status. Yeah, the only good thing to come out of it was the re-use of Nelson Riddle's music at the very end of the episode (when Robin wonders where Batgirl was). It was originally composed for the semi-sorrowful ending of the second Joker arc (season one's "He Meets His Match, The Grisly Ghoul") as former Joker moll Suzie says goodbye to classmate Dick Grayson.

1. Which episodes were your favorites? Mine would be the Green Hornet ones.
2. Your favorite villain portrayal? Mine was Burgess Meredith as the Penguin.

Even in my youth I thought that Kitty Kar looked ridiculous, but it made me laugh. They should have painted the car black and at least attempted to make it look cool. And wouldn't it be awesome if she pulled up next to the Joker with a black Leopard in the passenger seat? Great thread MechaGodzilla!!
