It just occurred to me, one of the small details I like about BWS's Conan is the sandals: I always hated those clumsy-looking "buccaneer" boots John Buscema used to put on his feet no matter what else he was wearing or what sort of climate or terrain he was dealing with. It was like a guy going to the beach in swimming trunks plus gumboots.

For all of those readers who enjoy the wordplay I indulge in when announcing the results (which, by my count, is approximately none of you), I'm afraid you will be disappointed, as coming with a list of BWS puns has proved beyond me. (I toyed with 'This week's Windsor is...', but the well ran dry after that.)

Congratulations Slam, that is a great piece of BWS art.
A little side story about that image. Smith put in the peacock because he felt he wasn't getting that front knee right. So he added the peacock to cover the knee.
A bit of serendipity that makes a better painting.
