Preacher Captain America - Winter Soldier Captain America 153 - 156 Daredevil by Miller Watchmen One of my favorites! I grew up in Miami, and the climax had an extra layer of cool for me.

The Maxx #1-#9 The Tick's Back The Tick: Big Romantic Adventure Robin Annual #3 (Elseworlds) Judge Dredd's Crime File #1-#2, #4-#6 Howard The Duck MAX #1-#5 (Made me wonder if the supreme court justices go "hort hort" when they laugh. So we can assume you didn't get the job right?)
Shadowman Yearbook is slowly getting there, same with Rune #1-#4

Mate its simply my favourite story ever, the cover to 156 just *&%$ed me up as a kid. So glad to actually own these finally after "ahem" 40 something years.

I think I was 10 or 11 and only got to read them cos a mate down my street got boxes of comics dropped off(like soldiers getting resupply parachutes ), and before youse ask...no, that emphatically isnt why he was my friend ... well not entirely. ?.

As much as I adore the (fill in the blanks) by Pini and PCR and Craig Hamilton and Adams and Steranko and Kane and Kirby,
I still 'squee' over the organic empathy in every line, every nuance, lovingly and selflessly given to us by Dave Cockrum. I find that despite his unfairly-lesser-status compared to others, his work had something extra, something subtle, something like the scent of a rare-to-find lover once they've left the room after they gave you the best 1942 Lauren Bacall kiss of your life.
And that's why I pour over his work, from 1975-1982, over and over again.

Transformers (Marvels 80s series - A childhood favorite that I have reread quite a few times over the years.
Sandman - One of my favorites and I think I have read the entire thing about 5-6 times and individual issues anywhere from 5-20 times.
Spider-man - The Lee/Ditko run is the one I think I have read most times along with JMS' run.
Secret wars (80s series not the new on). - In Denmark this was serilized in Edderkoppen (Spider-man's Danish name) and I loved it so much since it had all the characters I knew and those I was not that familiar with at the time. I still read my English hardcover version every year or so. Not a perfect series or anything like that but still something I very much enjoy reading,
