beautiful face, but in regards to a 'moon' she needs to adopt a Nigella Lawson diet for a while.

This totally looks like a Kirby pose. Marvin Stein inked the cover according to GCD.

Marvin Stein inked the cover according to GCD. Thanks, it doesn't look quite like Williamson.

Is that Flash/Spectre ish any good as a read? The art on that cover alone makes me want it even if the inside tale is typical Silver Age silliness.

Is that Flash/Spectre ish any good as a read? The art on that cover alone makes me want it even if the inside tale is typical Silver Age silliness. A review for you: 50yearoldcomics.wordpress.com/2017/04/20/the-brave-and-the-bold-72-june-july-1967/It always depends on your capacity for Silver Age silliness, of course, and for just how bog a dose of Bob Haney you can take with your comic books, but given those caveats, yeah, it's fun. Infantino id the pencils, and if Anderson had inked them, well, you can imagine how that combination would improve even a meh story. However, it's Chuck "lay on the motor oil instead of black ink" Cuidera who's the embellisher, and -- well, let's just say he's not the ideal inker for Infantino. Of course, not much can live up to the promise of that cover, so as you read the story, just flip back occasionally to the cover and dream of the Platonic version of Brave and Bold 72.

Re: Chuck Cudera--I'm always interested in seeing different artists on Infantino. I think around this time, he did a story inked by long-time Dick Sprang inker, Charles Paris.
And, yeah, that's one of my favorite covers ever.

Moon....ing ha. . almost went for a similar themed cover, but decided it was too vulger, so stuck with Herbie the Fat Fury for my entry.
