It reminds me (a little) of the Damon Runyon story "Butch minds the Baby" where some hoods recruit a retired safecracker for a job. But the safecracker is now married and his wife has left him the baby while she's out. So they take the baby with them on the job. But nobody said "I sure hope the Flash doesn't show up!"

^^^ Another one I was waiting for! Great selection james thanks. I was at work and was thinking about this cover. I couldn't remember the issue title and I was happy I was able to be the first to post it. Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't the "gangsters" Skrulls? At least that how I remember this issue

thanks. I was at work and was thinking about this cover. I couldn't remember the issue title and I was happy I was able to be the first to post it. Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't the "gangsters" Skrulls? At least that how I remember this issue Yep, that's right; a planet in the Skrull universe adopted the look and manner of gangsters during America's roaring twenties. Trivia: It's pretty well known now, and was pointed out back then in the letter column, that Kirby based this arc (FF #90-93) on at least a couple of episodes of Star Trek. From IMDb: - Gamesters of Triskelion "Kirk, Uhura and Chekov are trapped on a planet where abducted aliens are enslaved and trained to perform as gladiators for the amusement of bored, faceless aliens." (aired Jan. 5 1968, US) - A Piece of the Action:"The crew of Enterprise struggles to cope with a planet of imitative people who have modeled their society on 1920's gangsters." (aired Jan 12 1968, US)
