As much as I always want to win this dang thing, thereby the declaring my superiority to the world, upon doing so last week I was struck with the horror of coming up with a worthy subject that would inspire all. Glad I seem to have had a reasonable idea that we're all enjoying. Sure beats my first idea of "Accountants"...
In all honesty I wanted something that would (gently) force us to try something other than superheroes, and as usual you all outdo yourselves in creative interpretations.

In all honesty when I first read Warlock in the baxter reprints his art was a huge turn off. And I really didn't care for his art for the longest, and like is sun on Silver Surfer with Ron Lim or Infinity Gauntlet. Eventually it started to grow on me, and started to appreciate his art accompanying his writing more than I did at first. I think Metamorphosis Odyssey clinched it for me. |
