Apparently the pilot for this premiered on Amazon Video last summer but this is the first time I'm hearing about it. The rest of the first season will be released later this month and here's the first trailer.
To be honest this doesn't look much better than the 2001 FOX series but I didn't get a chance to watch that when it first aired. I do remember really enjoying the animated series that aired on FOX in the mid '90s though.
Has anyone already watched the pilot or have plans to check this series out?

I can't imagine anyone other than Patrick Warburton in the live-action role

I really liked the lived the live action series on Fox, so I'll probably try this.

I watched the pilot and thought it was pretty good. Glad to see it picked up for a full season.

I started rewatching the '90s cartoon this weekend after watching this trailer and I think it holds up really well. I may have to check out the 2001 FOX series too seeing as it's only 9 episodes.

The Fox series was great; a little different dynamic; but still great. Bat-Manuel was even more brilliant than Der Fledermaus and Liz Vassey was a hoot as Captain Liberty. American Maid was a better name; but, this is a better character.

I just watched the first three episodes and really enjoyed it.
I don't think any superhero has a better track record than The Tick. He's never had a comic series I haven't enjoyed; I loved the cartoon; the Warburton series; and now this.
I was a bit apprehensive about the new series and while I reminded myself that I was just as cautious about the previous one, it was difficult to remain open to the idea that a serious, darker take on The Tick could work. However, Peter Serafinowicz's enthusiasm as the hero is so infectious that all doubts have disappeared. It's strange - every televised take on the character has been so drastically different from the one which preceded it that it seems as if there should be at least one interpretation which doesn't work for me due to simple territorial stubbornness on my part if nothing else, and yet there's something about The Tick that makes him impossible not to love.

My wife and I watched the first six episodes, really enjoyed it, and now are stuck waiting for the rest of the season to go up. I've been a Tick fan for a long time, but I wasn't sure if she would like it, as she tends toward more grounded entertainment (although she will watch the MCU movies with me, except for GotG, which she found incredibly annoying).

I watched this with a friend of mine and I was pleasantly surprised how well it made. He has AMAZON TV and I don't and I'm going over to his house on an infrequent basis to watch it.

My lady and I enjoyed the Pilot. It's just a matter of making time to watch the rest of it.

Finally got the chance to start binge watching this series and it's pretty fun. I almost didn't recognize Jackie Earle Haley as The Terror.
