The coloring is wonderful in this hardcover printing. Nothing garish or muddy so the Colan/Smith art shines through in all of its splendid glory. Without dragging out the originals it looks as I remember in my minds eye and the lush pencil/ink work shows clearly and cleanly with the colors providing depth and visual cues throughout the hardcover without ever overpowering. Very nicely done.
