I really am sorry. I'm actually moving into the new house tomorrow. I've barely been online around here lately because I've spent literally every moment I'm not teaching, parenting, or sleeping, prepping the new house. I wanted to have the totals done before the school year began and before I took possession of the house (which both happened in the same week), but folks needed more time to get their votes in, and I was overly optimistic in how fast I could synthesize it all.
I know it's been a crazy long wait. I will have more time soon. Soon.

This event will be unarchived as soon as I have time to finish tabulating the results. In the meantime, I didn't think it was fair to still have it taking up prime real estate on the board after six weeks of inactivity, teasing you all. Again, sorry for the delay.

I actually finished tabulations in mid November (once we'd finished moving into the new house) but decided I didn't want to steal thunder from the Classic Comics Christmas, so I was going to wait until right about now to post the results. Then my hard drive perma-crashed two weeks ago. I have not been able to restore it. So I've had to start all over again. You can imagine my frustration. Days of work...utterly wasted. Fortunately, I have a little more time now that we're all moved in. I think I can have it done in another two weeks. |

Shax, I trust my computer less and less every year. I've taken to emailing files to myself, printing hard copies and writing information down in a notebook as a back up measure. Most of my pictures have been saved on other devices and internet sites. |

What's funny is that I had literally everything else backed up. But i hadn't run a backup since the move began, and this was pretty much the only new file I'd created since then that I hadn't at some point emailed or moved to a flash drive. It really is okay. I felt some of my tabulating methodology had been sloppy, so going back is an opportunity to do it better. |

Sorry, folks. The free time I was counting on to re-tabulate the results just isn't coming. It will be a long while before I finally get any results out to you. If anyone else would like to tabulate, you have my blessing. Otherwise, this may have to wait until June.
