Jon Goldwater gave an interview to The Hollywood Reporter discussing their plans to revive the Mighty Crusaders. He discusses creative team, direction, target audience, etc. Looks to have a December launch. -M

Are they going to have years between issues like their horror comics?

Are they going to have years between issues like their horror comics? Dark Circle was just as bad. The only title that they seemed interested in publishing consistently was Black Hood, which is a shame considering how much I enjoyed the direction Hangman was going in. The Shield was equally as promising, sort of an Eternal Warrior/Unknown Soldier (Ace) hybrid But let's be real here, they're about as awful with their upkeep of secondary comic lines as I am with my numerous review threads

But I'm not getting paid to do them. Of course they aren't getting paid for Afterlife with Archie or Chilling/Sabrina at this point either.

Archie has just been making some very dumb decisions lately, like intentionally losing the Sonic comic license to IDW. I don't even think the whole Penders fiasco was even really what caused it, moreso the idea that Archie could somehow get along fine without a title that they've been publishing for almost 25 years
