Just to reiterate, YES, honorable mentions absolutely count towards the final tally and will likely have a large impact upon the final Top 100.
Here's a quick review of the relevant rules before you chime in:
1. Honorable mentions are still worth points. The points for each nomination go as follows:
1st choice: 20 points 2nd choice: 18 points 3rd choice: 17 points 4th choice: 16 points 5th choice: 15 points 6th choice: 14 points 7th: choice: 13 points 8th choice: 12 points 9th choice: 11 points 10th choice: 10 points 11th choice (honorable mention): 9 points 12th choice (honorable mention): 8 points 13th choice (honorable mention): 7 points 14th choice (honorable mention): 6 points 15th choice (honorable mention): 5 points 16th choice (honorable mention): 4 points 17th choice (honorable mention): 3 points 18th choice (honorable mention): 2 points
Everything after 18th choice is worth 1 point, but, in the event of ties, a higher rank bears more weight. Thus, if Green Lantern: Rebirth gets 1 point total, and the original Lobo miniseries gets 1 point total, whichever of those earned the higher rank wins the tie. While nothing is going to make the Top 100 with 1 point, you may have two sagas tied for rank #12, and none of the tie-breaking scenarios in the Advance Warning thread work. In that instance, honorable mention rankings would be the tie-breaker.
2. You do not need to do a write-up/justification unless your reasons for calling these issues a saga requires an explanation, and you don't need to specify issue #s unless you think it would be unclear to others. In the rare instance that a comic not mentioned in anyone's Top 10 gets enough honorable mentions to make the list, and no one did a write-up for it, I will contact the person who ranked it highest to provide a write-up. I DO expect this will happen in some circumstances.
3. Your list can be as short as you like, but no longer than 90 honorable mentions. So long as your list appears to be made in good faith (hey, spamming happens), your votes will be counted.
4. Your list does not need to be added all at once. You can do multiple posts, but it's easier on me if you just go back and edit your first one to include any additions you've decided upon.
All threads will be locked on August 15th for vote tallying.
So bring on your honorable mentions...

My list might have been very different if I had gotten to the many series waiting to be read in my to get to pile, and if the cutoff weren't 10 years ago.
Some like Hellboy and Planetary would have ranked higher if the later issues (or last issue in Planetary's case) were able to be considered. There are others, like The Sixth Gun or Fear Agent that would have made the list somewhere if it weren't less than 10 years old. And some series like Sandman Mystery Theatre, I suspect will rank quite highly with me once I get around to reading them.
Since the last time we did this, many series have fallen down the list and some have risen. Some are a product of the distance in time since I last read them and I suspect if I reread them they might rise again, others because my tastes have continued to grow and change with me and long-time favorites have been outshined by new discoveries resonating more with my current tastes and those oldy but goodies pale when looked at without the lens of nostalgia bringing them in focus. I suspect if I were to revisit those, they might fall farther if I used any measuring stick besides nostalgia to measure them.
So I enjoyed doing this, but for me, it is a snapshot of the moment, and the picture will continually change as I read new things, discover new horizons and look at older favorites with newer eyes. Some of what is on my list will stay the same, others will rise or fall, but that's the joy and beauty of comics reading itself,s o thanks to Shax for doing this.

This is the next bunch of my favorites. I think all should be readily acceptable of sagas. Gon is the most questionable, but I'll stand by it. I only excluded three favorite comics for not being sufficiently saga-like: Amazing Adult Fantasy, Understanding Comics, Safe Area Goražde.
The hard part of making a list of 100 comics lies in the winnowing. Excluded dozens of beloved comics to get the numbers down. If there's an honorable mentions for honorable mentions thread, I'm ready!

EDIT: Oops. The Doom/Magneto story misses the length requirement. I'll echo mrp's note that 34 pages might be a better minimum for next time, to allow for 2-issue stories. Rather than renumber everything, can you just pretend it's crossed out, everything else is shifted up one, and that my #100 is

I'd be curious after shaxper has tallied everything to see a list of comics that were cited on multiple lists but still didn't have enough points to make the final top 100. I have a feeling there will be a few - stories that a lot of people like but no one person loves enough to give it a high ranking.
