Hi all! I need your help. I am looking to buy this classic Spidey ish. The seller seems to think a page was removed from the back but I cannot tell from the pic. Does anyone have a copy to confirm if it is missing a page? Any help is much appreciated!

If it's a page of the story itself, the GCD can tell you how many pages the story was. If it's just an ad missing -- does it matter?

He said something about it being a pin up and not a story page...I just wanted to make absolutely sure because if it is some splash page image or something done by Ditko, I want it in the book

I don't have a print copy, but I looked at the issue as it is on Marvel Unlimited. After the last story page, there is a split page pin-up by Ditko of Peter at a desk surrounded by books and lab equipment, and then a pic of Spidey shooting webs with no background.

Edit: and now Shax beat me to it.

You guys are the best thanks! I like my books complete and for the price, I could spend a tad more and get it complete so I may pass. Thanks again!

That reminds me of when I purchased Avengers # 5 on eBay. It was 25 for a lower grade but when it arrived , it was missing a non story page. When I contacted the seller , we both agreed on him refunding 5 dollars. I don't mind if a book is shabby but I insist on all the pages being there.

Others have beaten me to giving you the info you required, pinkfloydsound17, but I just wanted to say that ASM #20 is probably my favourite Lee/Ditko issue (although issue #5 is a strong contender too). I have an early '80s reprint of it in Marvel Tales, but would love an original -- even with the pin up missing!

It looks almost unnoticeable.

For a long time I had a VG/F copy that I bought for $3.25 at a comic book shop in Chicago in either 1976 or 1977.
