But seriously, if you want to read the Cerebus series, PM me and Ill send the first 2 volumes to you. I hope you're on the US. If he doesn't want them, I'd be willing to work out a trade with you for them ICC. -M In my attempt to no longer avoid reading the series, I actually stopped at the trade-heavy LCS and picked up the first phone book. Much appreciate the offer though.

Lone Slone and Tales Of Colossus are at the top of my list for sure. Lone Sloane is sitting unread on my bookshelf. I'm moving it to my nightstand, to be part of a pile of unread books. The art made it look like a must buy for me.

Heavy Metal had the Chaos volume (the last one) on sale in their clearance section on their site for the longest time. I know they blew out a lot of inventory earlier this summer, and am not sure if they still have it, but it was under $10 for the hardcover if they still do. It was my intro to Lone Slaone, the first I bought and read, so I came into it backwards, but it was fine I was able to figure it all out. -M

I have American Way and haven't read it yet, but am esp interested after this write up. Big Barks and Rosa fan and love Uncle Scrooge. I've heard great things about this for years and will absolutely get it. I've only read a little Corto Maltese but definitely will get the rest. Outstanding classic material. Love the Spectre. Can't believe I wasn't buying this in the 90's. Pluto - I know nothing about this so it was a first time exposure. Really dig Astro Boy so am intrigued by this.
