I just saw Stan's post on Facebook about receiving advance copies of this hardcover (which he will have at Terrificon this weekend-have fun in my old homestate this weekend Stan btw) with pics.  I've been out of the loop for 3 months recovering form surgery, and this is the first I heard of the hardcover (surgery also killed potential plans to go back east for this show and visit family). Anyone know which issues/stories are included in this and when it's due to his stores/Amazon? -M |

This book, however, is 72 pages long as it also contains some supplements (layouts, pin-ups, character studies, etc.). Amazon shows a release date of Sept. 19. Generally, they get their comics 2 weeks after the comic book stores do, so that should put this at a Sept. 5 release at your local comic book shop. Or, as Usagigoya points out, you can get an early copy straight from Stan's online store right now.edit: Looks like Stan's early batch is sold out. |

Just an update that the hardcover became available yesterday in both comic book shops as well as other retailers (such as Amazon). I wonder if the delay in getting this book out (from the original July release date) is why comic shops and Amazon/Barnes & Noble/etc. got it on the same day instead of the usual 2-week staggering?
