What a "skull-ection" of covers.
I'm going with Ish Kabibble's, though: just the kind of nightmare-producer that a 10-year-old would have thought really keen and Dr. Wertham would have wanted to ban. The leathery skin adds just the touch of unique that puts it over the top.
Close runners-up: Slam and Scott.

Personally, I saw a lot of skeletons which, IMO, are different from skulls and therefore I excluded. Action Ace gets my vote this week though for a skull made from skeletons. Such a great cover

Normally in these contests, I try to view a cover as a separate entity from the series it's attached to and judge it on its own merit, but in the case of Adventures of Luther Awkwright, I simply can't do that. Hondobrode!
