My second month buying my own comics. I bought Amazing Spider-Man 152 Marvel Tales 64 Marvel Two-in-One 13 World's Finest 235 - with one of the greatest covers of all time. Stop hurting my eyes. Wait, maybe you mean this is one of the greatest covers of all time the way people say that "Plan 9 From Outer Space" is one of the greatest movies of all time? That would be okay.

Nostagia trip, next stop November 1975I was 6 and the only books I got off the stands were... Avengers 144 (with a cliffhanger that wasn't continued int he next issue because of a DDD fill in, but this was my first Avengers off the stands and the habit was formed) Marvel Team-Up 42 (Vision was on his way to being my favorite Marvel character in the 70s) since then I have acquired a pile of books form this month including (but likely not limited to): Beowulf 6 Champions 3 Conan the Barbarian 59 Doctor Strange 12 Ka-Zar 14 Kobra 1 Master of Kung Fu 37 Power Man 29 (Mr. Fish!) Phantom Stranger 41 Son of Satan 2 (don't tell mom, she'll freak) Warlock 11 Wonder Woman 222 X-Men 97 -M

Is it just me, or are a couple dozen of those covers mislabeled?

I'm pretty sure I bought all of these as back issues (probably in the early 80's) as I was only 6 years old at this point, and probably only had a couple of comics, and those "talking animal" ones at that.
Avengers #144 Fantastic Four #167 Justice League of America #127 X-Men #97

November, 1975 As I continued to recover from the Sox’ loss to the Reds in the Series, complete my first term as a teacher and start to apply to grad school, I bought the following books. Grand total of $8.19. (The GK Digest was 69 cents.) Habitual Buys (because a quarter wasn’t a high price to pay for mediocrity):JLA 127 Swamp Thing 21 Batman 272 Beowulf 6 Detective 456 Conan 59 Curiosity Factor (because a quarter wasn’t a lot to pay for possibility)Marvel Premiere 28 (Legion of Monsters) Marvel Spotlight 6 (The Scarecrow) Marvel Presents 3 (Guardians of the Galaxy) Marvel Super Action 1 (The Punisher, et al)* Man-Bat 2 1st Issue Special 11 (Code Name Assassin) House of Secrets 140 (Patchwork Man) * (Well, a buck wasn’t bad, either.) Books I enjoyed reading (Because a quarter was a steal for good stuff)Warlock 11 X-Men 97 Master of Kung Fu 37 Dracula 41 Phantom Stranger 41 Hercules Unbound 3 For the reprints (because even a buck wasn’t too much for a trip to the past)Christmas with the Super-Heroes DC Special 20 (Green Lantern) Super-Team Family 3 Golden Comics Digest 48 (The Lone Ranger) Cover of the Month

Off the spinners (or form 3 pack polybags) I got
Avengers #145 (thus started my confusion of how continued stories worked because of the DDD) Doomsday +1 #5 Flash #240 Invaders #5 Marvel Team-Up #43 Marvel Triple Action #38 Vengeance Squad #5 (though I might have had this later as a Modern Comic reprint, can't remember, but know I had that issue as a kid at some point)
currently own a lot of books form this month, but not all that I had when I was a kid.

Pretty sure the only one I bought off the spinners that month was Fantastic Four 168.
