Ok, so I've got it. I put it together, printed it out, took a pic and posted. Tried to have a cooler way to do it, which I'm sure can be done, but I'm not shelling out the $ for the fancy software. Who can solve this first ? I'm going to try to put at least one crossword together a week. I'm starting chronologically with 1938 and working my way to the present, after which I'll go with themes. I considering going with random stuff, which in a way I think is more challenging, but it also comes across as more disjointed IMO.

15 Across has me stumped. I've got the rest.
If 15 Across had one more letter before the intersection with 10 Down, I'd have it. I have an eight-letter answer but not a seven.

Could be Centaur, if 10 down is Sheena, which fits with 11 Across being Harold Gray. Thing that confuses it, a bit, is many of the Dynamite heroes were from Nedor, which was also known as Ned Pines, Better, and Standard; but, none of those fit.
