#26. Written by Charles Soule. Art and Cover by Ron Garney. Matt gets a note asking for help from Blindspot who is recovering from his injuries (from #14) in China. When he gets there he is overcome by the Hand. Soule starts to tie up a plot thread from 12 issues back. He also brings back an old DD enemy. It's awesome to see Garney back on art! Plus DD is back in his classic red suit. 8/10.

#30. Written by Keith Champagne. Art by Benes, Kirkham, Tan. The conclusion of the Sinestro, Parallax, Qward story. Superman's fears are shown. Basically he fears not being able to help people. He overcomes Sinestro & Parallax with hope. He also inspires the warriors of Qward to resist Sinestro. For a fill in Champagne did a great job. The art was decent. Hopefully we get to stories that don't feel like fill ins. I also wasn't happy that the real conclusion of this story is in Green Lantern titles (which I don't read). 7/10.

#28. Written by Tim Seeley. Art and cover by Javi Fernandez. This is the conclusion to the Spyral storyline. Minos has returned. He tries to steal all Nightwing's superhero secrets with comic book science. Nightwing & Huntress win & end up in bed together at the end of the issue. Unfortunately Shawn witnesses this thru the window when she goes to Dick's apartment to apologize & try to get back together. Confession: I didn't read Grayson so I really didn't care about Spyral. I'm glad this arc is over. I want to get back to Nightwing in Bludhaven. 7/10.

Thoughts on Superman #30: Decent for a fill in story. The art was good throughout...although I did think Parallax (I still think that name sounds like a laxative, rather than a super villain) looked like Stripe from The Gremlins on the splash page. I was more interested in what Superman feared than in Sinestro, etc. His fear of Lois becoming sick, Jon turning into a delinquent....very human fears. I don't read Green Lantern either, so I won't find out where the story goes from here. Now, bring on Who is Mr. Oz! I had a dream the other night that Mr. Oz was Pete Ross! hahaha!
7/10

These issues just lacked everything that made all the preceding issues so great, no characterization, no heart and no supporting cast and on top of that they featured two villains I've never found interesting in the least. And my woe only continues as Mr.Oz has been an element that I've disliked from the start so I may just skip the next story completely. 5/10

Star Wars Adventures #1Written by Cavan Scott Art by Derek Charm Summary: In this two for one we get an early adventure of Rey on Jakku and Obi-Wan and Dax run down a criminal on Corusant. Plot: I was originally a little skeptical of this title as I was confused as to why Disney was farming this out to IDW instead of Marvel like the rest of the Star Wars books but I'm glad I picked it up because it was a lot of fun. It's definitely more of an all ages book than what's currently being published at Marvel, but not so tonally juvenile that it would feel too out of place which makes me scratch my head but I'm not going to complain as this was hands down the best Star Wars book to come out this week as both Marvel's Darh Vader and Captain Phasma were as dull as dish water(so much so that I can't even muster up the energy to review them. The voice of Rey flt spot on and I'm excited to really get into her head as I didn't think she was that actualized in TFA. Art: The art style reminds me a lot of the Star Wars comic strips published during the Clone Wars; it's slightly simplistic but full of a fun sense of energy. Grade:8/10
