Thanks to all who voted!  This week my choice is the great Jim Aparo! He is one of my favorite artists. So the rules are simple. Any Jim Aparo cover.
Rules:
- Post one (and only one) classic cover that fits the theme of the contest.
-Covers must be from a published comic book or collected volume published before October 2007.
-Covers must be posted before voting begins.
-Voting takes place Tuesday, Oct 3rd, beginning at 12:01 am PST and ending at 11:59 pm PST.
-Vote by posting in bold the name of the poster whose cover best fits the theme or whose cover you simply like the best.
-The winner of the contest is the poster with the most votes after voting ends.
-The winner chooses the theme for the next week's contest.
-If you don't think the cover fits the theme, don't vote for it. Please don't post disparaging remarks about it.
-If a cover is more recent than the classic time frame, kindly point it out so the poster can chose an alternate before voting begins.
-Don't link from comics.org (gcd) or Wikia; the images don't show up here or are too small to do your cover justice.
-Photobucket images don't want to play either.
-Enjoy.

All the covers are awesome so far. Aparo was great, too bad he never drew any Marvel books.

I really wanted to go with what i would consider classic Aparo (Batman/Spectre). . but that B&B 199 just proves that even a great artist can have an off day (those red eyes on Spectre drove me NUTS when I was younger. . hated them). but this is a good substitute for my entry. . . and a gorgeous Black Canary!  |
