We should totally do a top 10 list of favorite horror movies this year. I think it would be really fun.

Bumping things that go bump in the night? How appropriate Shax! But also extremely dangerous because you never know how they will bump you back! Can involve knives, pitchforks, screams and lots of blood

I've been watching the Universal Frankenstein movies in order this Halloween season. I'm getting near the end. House of Frankenstein is next! I'll watch it over the weekend. I love it way beyond its actual merit!

I love it way beyond its actual merit! Make sure you watch Frankenstein meets the Wolfman first, if you haven't already. And don't forget House of Dracula after!

I watched Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man last week. And TCM isn't showing House of Dracula. I might see if it's on YouTube, but I've seen it a bunch of times and its not one of my favorites, so I don't mind skipping it. It used to be a Halloween tradition for me to watch all the Universal Frankenstein movies every October. Skipping House of Dracula was practically part of the tradition.

I enjoy House of Dacula, but it's probably the weakest of the Monster Mash bunch. By the way, what about Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein?

Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein just so happens to be on MeTV's Svengoolie this Saturday night!

House of Dracula certainly has its moments but I've seen it so often that I'm not that concerned about missing it this year. The hunchback nurse is great.
Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein is not included in any of the Universal box sets I bought to get the whole collection, so I never included it in my Halloween season tradition. I like it a lot, and I watch it every once in a while. (I prefer Africa Screams.) Its been a while since I saw A and C Meet Frankenstein, so I might watch it on Svengoolie this weekend.

Some excellent choices. I'm particularly impressed to see Faust and Phantom Carriage make their list!

Horror is not my favorite genre, but I've seen 71 of the 95 from RT's list

Bump 2017 Happy October, everyone! I don't want to fill up the DVR with a bunch of movies I've seen a dozen times each, so I'm trying just to pick one or two each night from TCM's Universal horror marathons. So maybe ... Dracula (1931) and either Dracula's Daughter or Son of Dracula tonight ... and on Tuesday ... Well, I haven't seen The Mummy for a very long time. TCM is showing Eyes without a Face later in the month, so I have to see that! But I don't see Hausu or Dead of Night scheduled! Boooo! I'm hoping one of the movie channels with weird Halloween scheduling shows Frogs. I haven't seen that for a while.
