I thought I'd share this blog I'm doing - I'm chronologically compiling every Elric comic book appearance I know of, plus a few other art bits as well. Any feedback - good or bad - is appreciated!

Do you have Druillet's adaptation of Elric? That's one of my grail's right now.
I'll have to check it out,I just filled in all the holes I had form First and Pacific, but I still need to get the Topps Strombringer adaptation. I may find some others I don't have in your blog.

There's actually a couple of different editions of it, and there are 2 for sale via Amazon sellers currently, but for what they are asking I want to see the book in person before I plunk down the cash. There's one dealer I know who specializes in European stuff, OGNs art books, etc. and he is keeping an eye out for me (as well as for a copy of Wrightson's Frankenstein but I have some competition for that one form some other folks I know on the convention circuit). Copies are few and far between it seems, but they do pop up every so often. -M

Plus something I didn't know at all: there's a fairly recent edition from 1997, and in English too! Here's the Abebooks link!

I still need to get the Topps Strombringer adaptation. I really like it - anytime Russell does Moorcock it's worth picking up.

Between conversion rate and international shipping rates, I can almost get it for less from one of the Amazon sellers, though it would be in French. -M

"Star Reach Greatest Hits" is a solid package for sure!

I think he has very much the right look for Elric as a character. The only thing that doesn't fit for me is the lack of colour. I always picture Melniboné and the whole world of Elric as very colourful and ornate, probably because of Moorcock's descriptive style in the books.

I recently bought and read the Blondel/Poli series and Moorcock has said that this was his own favourite adaption.
