Story on SyFy WireGaiman's Sherlock Holmes/Lovecraftian short story A Study in Emerald (first published in the anthology Shadows over Baker Street a collection of Holmsian Lovecraftian tales) is being adapted to comics and published by Dark Horse. They have done this with other Gaiman short stories, usually with P Craig Russell attached on art, but this time it's Rafael Albuquerque and Dave Stewart doing the art with Rafael Scavone doing the adaptation. It's not slated to come out until June though, but it is being announced ahead of NYCC and the slew of announcements that will flood out of there and get lost in the jumble. Here's the DH Press Release I love this short story, and Alburquerque's art was the best thing about American Vampire, so I am likely on board for this.

Alburquerque is one of my favorite modern artists so I tend to try anything he's involved in, but him on a Gaiman story is a double must buy.
