My 10 year old son asked for a Mohawk and now he's sporting it. He wanted and asked me I told him it was his head his hair. That's something I never would have been able to do as a kid.

Does his school have any restrictions on hair? I know my high school's administration would flip out if I walked in on Monday looking like a roadie for the Sex Pistols.

One of his other friends has one so I assume it's okay. It's not dyed pink or anything. If anything it fits him for the part of Native American he got from his mother.

As this forum grows and all. I have wondered if we will get a TV/Film board ? I know quite a few of us loved debating some TV and I always enjoyed the Wrasslin stuff to post and discuss. So will we get that at some point ?

So will we get that at some point ? You could use the movie thread I already created for film talk. Its not necessary to make it strictly classic IMO. I would appreciate keeping TV separate so it doesn't get too congested.

If I start posting say WWE stuff it may bog the thread down. So how is this sound guys since your the Mods. I create 1 , all purpose WWE Thread here. One for WWE PPV , News , RAW , Smackdown and Network stuff. That way its just one thread. That way it won't bog down the Movie thread that is there. That ok with everyone ?

Generally speaking, unless it's redundant or there's something highly controversial about it, you don't need to ask permission to start a thread.

As I think I noted at least once in the old forum, I decided back in the early '80s that mohawks were the punk equivalent of the old Chinese mandarins' insanely long fingernails -- sported as a sign that one didn't have to bother working for a living. Of course, that's probably not a big concern for 10-year-olds.

Otherwise, it's always a delight to find oneself up an hour before one has to be. This is the 2nd time in recent months that my youngest female cat, Allie, has managed to knock my alarm clock off the bedside stand in such a way as to advance the time by an hour.
Ugh.
