Yeah, it's clear that the Spectre, if we classify him as a superhero, would take this easily (certainly fully powered by The Presence) but I can't see how he really qualifies. He and the Phantom Stranger always seemed to fit a very unique niche. They were all-powerful beings that just so happened to have solo series. If Galactus and Odin had their own series, I think it would be comparable. Dr. Manhattan is really a transcended cosmic entity, so I can't view him in his final state in Watchmen as a superhero.
I'm assuming Phoenix is Dark Phoenix? That would be a villain/cosmic entity. If we keep it within the bounds of clearly defined superheroes (powerful, but not "omnipotent" who seek to right wrongs or protect innocents) I can't see how any of the remaining heroes trumps the Silver Surfer. He basically has every power Thor, Superman, Green Lantern, the Hulk, etc, has but at "cosmic" levels, including many that they don't (force fields, matter manipulation, can fly between galaxies, etc.). Doctor Strange is certainly in the running, but he's always been more formidable against magical foes than cosmic ones.

If anyone think Dark Phoenix ... can change their votes right now and you got until the end of year to change it. It seems to me like, in theory, Phoenix and Dark Phoenix should have the same powers. The difference between them is the removal of inhibitions and morals in the case of Dark Phoenix. Granted, I'd pick Dark Phoenix in a fight if it were possible for them to fight each other. |

I think your poll is fine the way it is. By now, most voters probably know that you mean Phoenix, not Dark Phoenix, and of course they can change their votes if they want. As for my point, some may agree with it and others may not. Personally, I've kept Phoenix in as one of my four. |

Our Top Four Most Powerful ... Superman and the Spectre are tied for 1st Place, with Doctor Manhattan and Phoenix are tied for 3rd Place! I was a bit surprised by this poll and I can see where all of you participated in this poll and that decision isn't an easy one to do. I was expecting Mighty Thor, The Hulk, Captain Marvel, and others to join in and yet the only Marvel Character got in was the Phoenix. I'm closing this poll a day earlier and wanted to say thanks everyone that participated in this poll.     Your Four Champions, Superman, Spectre, Doctor Manhattan, and The Phoenix!
