I'm in the group who reads series as a whole. It's both a good thing and a bad thing some series (Sandman, Fables, Suicide Squad) are great to read at once, others (a lot of Silver Age super hero stuff) are better read an issue at a time every once in a while. That's just my opinion. My to read list is huge (has to be 2,000-3,000 books) so I'm slowly catching up.

How many do you pull at one time? Do you read them in runs or random issues ? What room do you use ? Do you take them out of your home to read them ? Early in the morning or late at night? How often you you re read them ? Inquiring minds want to know. Every Wednesday I get my haul of new stuff and read it (or most of it) that night at work. Any left over I read on the couch in the morning after work or in bed before I go to sleep. The couch and bed plus bathroom are also where I read my stack of older to-read stuff. I love re-reading my old books, though I haven't got a chance in a while. When I do it's generally on the couch, grabbing books from this to this (say Panic in the Sky to Eclipso: The Darkness Within) or complete contained series (say Watchmen).

I read them on the crapper. Would you like more details? Details? No, definitely not. But I've never understood reading in the bathroom. To me, it's never been a place I want to spend a lot of time. It's just a place I go to accomplish something, then leave.

I have no need to sit in there reading and wallowing in my crapulence.

Very carefully, especially if I've just applied a fresh coat of Rimmel London 60 Seconds to my nails. I don't care if they say it dries in 60 seconds. (Although it does).

Believe it or not I read my comics this way from time to time in order to preserve the covers.

I have a nice one myself with a wooden finish. I came to the conclusion that it was the only comfortable way to read my Marvel omnibus' (I have FF Vol.2 and Silver Surfer) without having to use an archaic lectern or some other such device. (Though the image of me reading comics in a dank basement, while at an ancient lectern with two giant tallow candles for lighting, amuses me. I might just do it!)

For the most part on a tablet (Samsung) and after 2 years or so would probably prefer it to paper. The colours are amazing, I can store hundreds of books (and novels I never have time to read) and can read it anywhere. Always at work on breaks, and mainly on the couch while my good lady watches SKY TV (satellite tv).
