I need help! I am trying to find as many redheaded super heroes and villains...comic book characters in general, actually, that have red hair. I just found Commander Winter (who is completely awesome and I totally need more info on her!) but I am looking for more! Can ya'll tell me your favorite redhead and why?

Marvel in particular seems to really like redheads. Here are some: Medusa Black Widow Phoenix/Marvel Girl Madeline Pryor Red Sonja Firestar Patsy Walker/Hellcat Christine Palmer (Night Nurse) Of course there's also Archie Andrews and Cheryl Blossom from Archie Comics. Batgirl, Batwoman, and Cinnamon from DC Comics. And Firehair! Both of them:

Well, there is Matt Murdock, whose hair matches his costume. Jean Grey Scarlet Witch, obviously. Black Widow Nick Fury's buddy Red Hargrove Jimmy Olsen I believe Janet Van Dyne has been auburn haired, a time or two. Of course, the greatest red heads in comics are Little Orphan Annie and the unseen Little Red-haired Girl, over whom Charlie Brown forever moons.

Ginger Maguire, also known as Sky Girl! She was in Jumbo Comics from Fiction House for a long time in the 1940s. Her adventures are in the public domain and are available for FREE online at Comic Book Plus.

Also from Fiction House - Tiger Girl in Fight Comics! She was blonde on the covers much of the time, but usually a redhead inside.

Iron Maiden, a villain in the THUNDER Agents series, is a redhead (under the helmet), who is known as "Rusty," to Dynamo (who also is sometimes colored as a red-head)
