After so many episodes talking with old fogeys about our old fogey comic books, I'm joined this time by Outrajs to discuss her perspective as a new comic book collector, as well as the run that sparked her initial interest in comics as a kid, the Wonder Woman: Space Pirate storyline in Wonder Woman vol. 2 #66-72. The being away from Earth for so long thing might be explained by faster than lightspeed travel? I stopped reading this volume when Perez left and only picked up again when Rucka came on, so I haven't actually read this myself, but did she really get a job at Taco Bell??

When should my head have exploded? When she said the creator she was most interested in is John Byrne. |

Oh yes, I did hear that. Since I've never read his work on Wonder Woman, I can't be outraged. I've heard his Fantastic Four run was pretty great. It's just the Superman stuff and the guy as an actual person. |
