I have started to notice that digital comics are now obstructing the original cover price...WHY?? I find it desirable to have the original cover price intact, nostalgic for me personally. Here is a recent digital issue of Brave & the Bold... The original cover price was 30 cents, what purpose does it serve to cover this up??

Wow, that's interesting. MU still has the prices.

Well, when I see the cover (via DIGITAL), I want to know if it was originally 10 cents, 20 cents, 30 cents, etc. The original cover price is important to me. To leave it blank renders it somewhat meaningless. For whatever reason, DC thinks it best to leave the original cover price BLANK!

Probably because there are a plethora of laws in several states governing price marked vs. priced charged when it comes to scanned or computer pricing where you have to honor any price physically on the product if it "rings up differently" and they don't want someone trying take advantage of those laws and sue them because they charged $1 or $3 for a product marked 30 cents (or whatever), because you know somebody will because we live in a litigious society and some folks are always looking to make a buck by suing someone else. Since it is for sale in every state and it is impossible to cover contingencies for every state's laws regarding sales and msrp, it's probably easier and safer to just remove any msrp form digital content for them.

The cover just seems NAKED without the original cover price.

My complaints is you need a big monitor to read them ... I borrowed my friend Jeff to read those comics to get the full page view and all that if you have some vision problems like I do. Monitor has to be 22 inch for me to read it.

I lucked out and bought a new PC this year at Best Buy, it has a 24" monitor...it was marked down to a very affordable price, in fact it was so cheap that the NEW Store Manager made an error and marked it down TOO LOW by mistake! Ha, after I made my purchase the price was quickly marked back up to a $100 increase. My purchase was a steal and they even had the computer on a display in the front of the store at the marked down price before they realized they messed up big time!!

The cover just seems NAKED without the original cover price. i don't know, if trade dress ruins your enjoyment of content, I think there's a point being missed. I feel the same way about issue numbers as well. It's all irrelevant when it comes to enjoying the comics themselves to me. If I had my way, all covers would be virgin covers with no trade dress at all and just the art. All the relevant trade dress info can be in the inicia and on the back cover since books really don't need them to be identified on the shelves any longer (and most comics are bought via mail order or pull lists and never see a shelf) as there are no newsstands that have to pull issues to be returned. -M

I have a digital complaint- sometimes when I download an issue from MU it only downloads a few pages. I wanted to read a book and it had from page 1-3, only.
