# 4. Draxton Entity's Evil Shape Shifting Harpies from the Goon.
The Goon is one of my very favorite 21st century comics - It's basically the perfect combination of '30 pulp style horror venture and 21st century humor with all the terrible, terrible tasteless jokes that implies..
... and this is a good example of why.
And since today's pick is a pair of shape shifters I can slip in TWO cool designs for the price of one.
This is the perfect mix of "sexy" and "malevolent." My favorite part of the former is the heart shaped piece of magic floating fabric covering the crotch of the lady on the left, while the dark shading around the eyes, jagged eyebrows, and too-wide-smile of the lady on the right exemplify the latter.
Bonus: They spend half their time as pulpyFrazettaKirby monsters, and that's frickin' cool, too!
