The Hasbro Studios sales guide PDF announced a Micronauts animated series going into production in 2018 for 2019 release. This is the catalog given to clients to hype upcoming Hasbro series and product lines produced by their marketing department as far as I can gather.
There is some concept art for the series in the catalog, and an elevator pitch for the series. It will be targeted for ages 6-11 it seems. Most likely a new toy line (probably completely redesigned for a contemporary kid's audience if the concept art for the animated series is any indication) will follow.
