Weekend here was windy and chilly with slight rains in the mountains and northwest parts of town but most of the city remained dry. Still chilling down at night into the high 30's to low 40's but warms up rather nicely by noon for the remainder of the day. Just avoid the wind cuz that puts the chill into the old bones!

Cloudy with occasional rain. In the 50's. To think we had highs in the teens 2 weeks ago...

Pouring Down Rain ... big time! Same here... heavy snow yesterday, but pouring rain this evening... with a return to sub-zero temperatures for the rest of the week. This kind of yo-yo weather makes it pretty hard to keep standing up in the drivewaaaaayyyyyyyy y y y y *splat*

This kind of yo-yo weather makes it pretty hard to keep standing up in the drivewaaaaayyyyyyyy y y y y *splat* That's true ... the vicious weather cycle continues for the next 3 weeks or more for me. I understand where you are coming and that's crazy as it can be. I even had a 28 hour period (done 5 times this winter) that winds are in the 15-20 miles per hour and no power outages too. Weather can be nuts!

Woke up to some snow this morning, only about an inch or two, but its lack of impressive stature only served to hide some lovely freezing rain that had fallen earlier in the night, making the commute this morning all the more fun.

In the next 1-2 weeks my weather will be in the mid-50's, moderately breezy, and Spring will arrive early this year. It is the most breezy/windy Winter that we ever had in a long time and only had two days of snow ... Christmas Eve and Christmas ... that followed by 2-3 days of melting and that all the snow that we had so far. Many days of double-digit winds (10-15 MPH) that lasted 20-30 hours at a time. Since December 21st, this been the record for breezy conditions and fortunately only lost power for 3-5 hours during that time ...

It's been very breezy in the past 24-48 hours and we had period of little snow, rain, bitter cold, and some sunshine as well. I just can't wait for Spring and all that. This Winter is the most breeziest winter that I can recall and lost power 8 times since last November due to the winds that we are having this winter.

Winter was back today (and why not? Spring is still a month away) but theykre forecasting warm weather for this week.
Those who deny that climate is changing don’t remember that above-zero days earlier than in late March used to be red letter days. It just never happened. Now, it’s not that surprising to see grass (dead, yellow grass, but still) in February.
Is it bad to admit that I kind of like this wamer weather? I know it’s bad for the environment, but my old bones feel selfishly so much more comfortable...
