Not a cover, but the first comic image I thought of when I saw the theme.  I thought of it too. Also, this reminds me of something I was wondering about the other day: would it be possible to have a Classic Title (or splash?) Page contest, or something along those lines? There are so many great ones, it would be nice to pay tribute to them. The only problem is, I imagine it would be a lot harder to find the images online than it is for covers, so maybe it wouldn't work. That is a cool idea berk. Though as you said, probably much harder to find entries. |

I would definitely try to participate. I feel that a splash page contest would revolve around people remembering what they read. For the cover contest, sometimes I go with what I know but other times I just cruise through various titles because it's accessible and sometimes I find something I haven't seen before.
